HSA  1.0 Spec Released
The HSA Foundation announced a major milestone with its release of the 1.0 HSA specification, which brings the technology industry one step closer to true heterogeneous computing on platforms spanning mobile devices, desktops, high-performance computing (HPC) systems and servers.

 AMD “Carrizo” Architecture Unveiled at ISSCC​
AMD unveiled Carrizo at the International Solid State Circuits Conference and expects it to provide substantial gains in CPU, graphics, and multimedia performance over the prior generation APU, while reducing the power consumed by the x86 cores by 40 percent.
