Radeon Software 16.3.2 is Oculus Rift™ ready. Are you?
Oculus Rift started shipping this week! People have been waiting for immersive high-end VR, and now the Rift is here and AMD is ready.
Radeon Software Crimson Edition
To align with this major VR milestone, we have released a new driver: AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.3.2, which includes support for the Oculus Rift™ SDK v1.3 – as well as the Radeon™ Pro Duo – and is optimized for the Rift, offering the most stable and compatible driver for developing VR experiences on the Rift to-date.

OculusThe driver and Oculus SDK combine to implement the LiquidVR™ Direct-to-Display feature for a seamless plug-and-play user experience. Together, they also implement a technique known as Asynchronous Time Warp (ATW) to reduce latency and prevent image judder caused by dropped frames, as well as Quick Response Queue for more precise control over when individual tasks such as display refresh execute.
